Man, David, I am struggling not to say, "So what?"

Looks like I failed in my struggle.

For context:

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
James 2:19 (KJV)

Hi Hammer,

I didn’t have a comment to add to the poll result, but I did think it was interesting because so much of the media ignores religion and religious people.

Hi David,
Merry Christmas,
I would have to agree with Hammertime.
It would have been interesting to know how many "believe God".
Be Blessed,
Pete

Hi Pete,

Good to hear from you and a Merry Christmas to you as well.

Surveys and polls always leave me with more questions than answers. The way a question is phrased and how it is asked will influence the response. I have to assume that most people most of the time don’t put much effort or thought into a phone poll.

It is rare to talk to someone who is a complete atheist, even in California, so my guess is that this poll is in the ballpark of being right. However, a very small percentage of what makes the cut in Network entertainment and news includes reference to any God, much less the true God.

Now to answer your question: finding people who act on the word of God consistently is about as rare as finding an atheist in a monastery.
